Not Just Another Orange Wine 🐝
I absolutely love orange wines. My first encounter was at the Amelie Wine Bar in San Francisco, circa 2010. I asked the French waiter for something interesting….I had been up in Napa all day tasting and wasn’t feeling particularly inspired. What he poured me had me question my entire wine experiences up until that point in time. The wine was from Georgia, it was the 2009 Rkatsiteli from Pheasants Tears. Since then, I have been a staunch proponent of orange wines.
