The Magic of Time ⏳
The versatility of Semillon is what makes it such a pleasure to work with. Previous vintages of this wine explored the vast array of styles that Semillon can embrace. These styles are only possible because we respect the vintage and the nobility of these old vines. Up in the Northern part of the Willamette Valley, we remained unscathed by the fires in 2020. This vintage produced one of the most balanced Semillons to date. More akin to what the 2015 would have been. Phenomenal texture, acid, fruit, and those classic honey and savory notes that Semillon is known for. This vintage reminds me of Graves blanc. Once again, our ‘COURY’ Semillon reminds us of the benefits of “time” and rewards of patience.
